1468 30thVery rare corner lot in prime Altamont with some water views and 200 feet of southwest exposure backing on to Mathers Crescent. Sun drenched patio with a gorgeous 50 foot lap pool. Very well constructed home with a gorgeous new kitchen with stainless steel appliances, three bedrooms up including a huge master suite and large principle rooms on the main floor that all open up to the south facing patio and pool. The basement area would make a terrific nanny suite or media room. Original upgrades designed by Architect Gordon Hlynsky include the pool and spa, oversize garage with pool cabana and the family room.

Altamont is a neighbourhood of West Vancouver that is defined largely by its estate-sized lots and its proximity to Dundarave Village and numerous local beaches.
Named by John Fitzgerald Mahon ( - 1942) of Vancouver and London, who subdivided land here in 1913, after his brother-in-laws' courtesy title, Earl of Altamont, the eldest son of the Marquess of Sligo, and brother of his wife, Lady Alice Mahon.
To many, Altamont is viewed as the Shaugnessy of West Vancouver with the parallels being architectural styles and the large, private lots. Altamont is situated immediately to the west of Dundarave and sits between Highway 1 and the ocean.
In recent years, the popularity of West Bay Elementary (International Bacculareate World School and top ranking public school in BC) has increased demand for property in the Altamont area.
