Hosted the first, and last, public open house at 2843 Marine Drive (the "loft house") yesterday. The real estate gods were smiling upon me yesterday as the weather was perfect and the place was packed for nearly four hours! At least half of the people through started with a version of the same line, "I've driven by this place for twenty years and always wanted to see inside..."

Serious interest was strong and it appeared that we would sell to developers which, on a personal level I found distressing as I love the house, but in the end a really nice family moving from Korea bought the house. We're thrilled that someone who loves the area and the house was able to get it!
