YOUR MORTGAGE, EXPLAINED

Ask where your home search is actually looking

The video criticizes disputes over online listing distribution. For buyers, the useful takeaway is to understand the scope of a search rather than assume one website shows every available opportunity.

Check the search behind the screen

Ask your real estate professional which listing sources and geographic areas their search covers. Discuss how new listings, status changes and properties outside your filters are handled. A familiar website is useful, but its presentation alone does not establish completeness.

Separate information from interpretation

The clip offers the creator's view of the motives behind a platform dispute. Those opinions do not prove why every participant acted. Listing agreements, policies and litigation can also change over time, so an old video should not determine today's assumptions about access.

Choose help by the service provided

Ask how an agent will explain options, verify availability and keep your search focused on budget and needs. Evaluate the clarity of that process rather than treating access to a particular brand as the whole service.

Can I assume a missing listing is unavailable?

No. Ask your agent to verify its status and availability through appropriate current sources.
